Whilst this course will touch on singing technique and musicality, the main aim is using acting technique to get you feeling super confident in singing your signature song.
This mini course runs for two days at LAMDA in February 2025.

This course is for anyone who is preparing to sing at an upcoming audition.
Whether you are auditioning for drama school of you’re a working professional, this course is for you. Our tutors are adept at tailoring feedback and direction to your level of experience.

About the course
This two-day intensive course is for you if you have an audition song that needs some TLC. Guided by LAMDA’s world-class singing tutors and accompanists, you’ll explore your song in depth; receiving detailed feedback along the way.
Alongside your peers, you’ll be encouraged to have fun and get curious about exploring your song in new ways – uncovering deeper truth and connection to your chosen piece. You’ll support each other in a relaxed, nurturing environment where there is no such thing as a ‘perfect’ voice: you’ll come away from the course feeling clear and confident about your voice, and excited and ready about singing in that upcoming audition.

This course is for anyone who is preparing to sing at an upcoming audition, and would like to spend some time focusing on their audition song. Whether you’re from a Musical Theatre background or an acting background, a beginning or a professional, you’ll be challenged and nurtured by our tutors.
No previous acting experience is required to partake in this course.
Key Information
Our Actor Explore courses are open-level and aimed at any actor interested in exploring a particular skill. Whether you’re a professional actor or you’re new to performing, our expert tutors will adapt notes and exercises to ensure that you are challenged and excited by the work. As much as possible, students will be paired with others of a similar experience level or age.
