Student Hardship Fund
Will you help support a LAMDA student?
The Student Hardship Fund exists all year round to help our students who fall on hard times.
Due to Covid-19, many students are facing daunting costs they never could have budgeted for.
One in five of our students receive a scholarship to train at LAMDA due to financial hardship, and Covid-19 has stretched the economic resources of many of our students. With rising rental costs and the change of moving back into full-time education, there are currently more requests than ever before from students struggling financially. Students often work three or four part-time jobs in addition to 8 hours of full-time study per day during the week, mounting to 12 hours a day for rehearsals and performances.
No student should feel that their personal financial circumstances could jeopardise their training. We aim to support every student who comes to us for financial aid, but we need your help.
