About Actor Refresh Summer
Meeting twice a week for six weeks, the Actor Refresh Summer Programme will allow professional actors to reconnect with their craft and community.
The course will combine text with methods such as those from Uta Hagen, Stanislavski, Chekov, and Laban to remind working actors of their craft. This course has no 'product' except reconnecting with the joy of acting, which can often get lost in the day-to-day hustle of being a jobbing actor.
About our Actor Refresh Classes
Whether you graduated last year or ten years ago, our actor refresh courses are suitable for any actor who has graduated from a drama school or equivalent programme.
You will revisit the practices you built at drama school, allowing you to refresh and recalibrate your understanding.
In 2025, our Actor Refresh series expands to include Actor Refresh: Screen Acting and our Acting Refresh: Evenings. Access a discount if you're interested in booking for more than one theme by contacting [email protected]
Key Information
You must be 21 or older to meet the requirements of this course.
Applicants must have graduated from a Drama School Acting course of at least two terms (or an equivalent level of training at a recognised programme). If you are unsure if you meet this requirement, please contact our Short Course team on [email protected]
The course is delivered through the medium of English. Non-native speakers of English should have a level of English approximately equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
