About the show
Romeo and Juliet is a passionate and tragic play by William Shakespeare set in Verona. It tells the story of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet, two young lovers from feuding families. Despite their families' bitter enmity, they fall deeply in love after meeting at a Capulet party and secretly marry the next day.
Their love, however, is doomed by a series of tragic events, including the deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt, which lead to Romeo's banishment. To avoid an arranged marriage to Paris, Juliet devises a desperate plan. However, a tragic miscommunication ensues, leading to devastating consequences.
