Latest releases
- From 8 September – 16 October, Gabby Beans starred in I’m Revolting, which played at Atlantic Theater Company in New York.
- Catch up with the latest series of All Creatures Great and Small, starring Patricia Hodge and Callum Woodhouse, on My5.
- Wreck, starring 2022 graduate Amber Grappy, is now available to watch on BBC iPlayer, after airing on BBC Three in October.
- Comedy duo Stiff & Kitsch performed at the Other Palace theatre on 30 October in Side Notes: An Evening of New Musical Theatre.
- The Peripheral is now available on Amazon Prime, starring Gary Carr and Charlotte Riley.
- Catch Dónal Finn, Jacob McCarthy and Amir El-Masry in SAS: Rogue Heroes, now airing on BBC One and available on BBC iPlayer.
- The Sleeping Sword, which is adapted by Tatty Hennessy and directed by Lucy Jane Atkinson, is playing at the Watermill Theatre until 5 November.
- I Have Heard You Calling in the Night, the short film from Colm Gleeson, Will Bishop and Stephen Hagan, is screening as part of Aesthetica Short Film Festival from 1 – 6 November.
- Julia Messina will be part of Cockpit Theatre’s Viola! Europe Scratch Night on 7 November, with the short play I Still Recall that Quiet Night.
- On 9 November, Amir El-Masry and Natascha McElhone will appear in season five of The Crown, available on Netflix.
- Claire Higgins and Matilda Tucker will be appearing in the series Dangerous Liaisons, airing on Starz from 9 November.
- Edward Crook features in The English, available in the UK on BBC iPlayer from 10 November and internationally on Amazon Prime from 11 November.
- Living, starring Celeste Dodwell, Jamie Wilkes and Barney Fishwick, will be released in UK cinemas on 11 November.
- Jennifer Kirby and Sam Alexander are starring in The Massive Tragedy of Madame Bovary! showing at Jermyn Street Theatre from 17 November – 17 December.
- From 19 November 2022 – 15 January 2023, Sera Mustafa will be starring in Polka Theatre’s festive production of Crackers, with Anna Short as the Sound Designer.
- Katie Matsell will be part of the cast for the National Theatre’s Othello, which begins on 23 November.
- Bella Kear will be the Associate Sound Designer for Newsies, which opens at Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre on 29 November and runs until 19 February 2023.
Things to look forward to
- Watch the first trailer for The Flatshare, starring Anthony Welsh, before its release on Paramount+ on 1 December.
- Leah Harvey has been announced as part of the cast for @sohoplace’s upcoming production of As You Like It, which plays from 6 December 2022 – 28 January 2023.
- Aaron Pierre has been cast in Disney+ and National Geographic series, Genius: MLK/X.
- Wicked Little Letters, starring Hugh Skinner, is currently filming ahead of a 2023 release.
- Harriet Walter, Aisling Bea and Samuel Barnett are amongst the cast of And Mrs, which recently began filming.
- Ciarán Owens will be starring in the Paris revival of Cabaret, which begins on 1 December.
- Watch On The Rhine, which will feature sound design by Tingying Dong and stars Patricia Hodge, is showing at Donmar Warehouse from 9 December – 4 February 2023.
- Kemi-Bo Jacobs will be playing Ginnie Hemstock in The Ocean at The End of The Lane in its UK and Ireland tour, beginning on 12 December.
- Next February, Tinuke Craig will be directing Trouble in Butetown at Donmar Warehouse.
- Tony Goldwyn will star in action thriller film Plane, set to be released in January 2023. Watch the trailer now.
- Ahead of its release on Netflix in January, watch Harry Melling in the trailer for The Pale Blue Eye.
- From February 2023, Ben Daniels will be starring in Soho Place’s production of Medea.
- The Following Events Are Based On A Pack of Lies, starring Alistair Petrie, will air on the BBC in 2023.
- Sounds Like Fun, written by Bryan Moriarty, will be published by Hodder & Stoughton in the UK in March 2023.
- The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry, starring Jim Broadbent, is set to be released in April 2023.
