- Anna Maxwell Martin starred in the Gavin and Stacey Christmas Finale on BBC One and iPlayer on 25 December.
- Toby Stephens starred in the two-part special of The Split: Barcelona on BBC One and iPlayer on the 29 and 30 December.
- Bank of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger starring Rory Kinnear and Amit Shah was released on Netflix on 10 January.
- Jimpa, starring John Lithgow, had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on 23 January.
- Michael Malarkey stars in second season of The Night Agent which was released on Netflix on 23 January.
- Benedict Cumberbatch stars in the upcoming film, The Thing with Feathers, which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on 25 January.
- On January 29, a brand-new series of audiobook recordings of Ian Fleming's James Bond stories was released by HarperCollinsUS. Richard Armitage voices the original Bond novel in this series, Casino Royale, which is available on Audible.
- Dame Harriet Walter starred in the two-part docu-series Brian and Maggie on Channel 4 on 29 and 30 January.
- Sam Bampoe-Parry stars in Belly of The Beast, playing at Finborough Theatre until 1 February.
- Rebecca Frecknall directs Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which will run at the Almeida Theatre until 1 February.
- Matthew Tennyson stars in The Invention of Love at Hampstead Theatre until 1 February.
- Samuel Barnett stars in Feeling Afraid As If Something Terrible is Going to Happen at the Arts Centre Melbourne until 1 February, Sydney Opera House from 5 - 23 February, and Adelaide Festival Centre 26 February - 2 March as part of Adelaide festival, Australia.
- Miss Austen starring Rose Leslie will be broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer on 2 February.
- Summer 1954 which plays from 3 - 8 February at The Everyman Theatre stars Nathaniel Parker.
- Matt Doyle stars in the off-Broadway production of Conversations with Mother, which plays at Theater555 from 7 February – 7 May.
- Rhiannon Neads stars in The Autobiography of a Cad at the Watermill Theatre from 7 February - 22 March.
- Alec Newman and Luke Treadway star in East is South at Hampstead Theatre from 7 February - 15 March, with Sound Design by Tingying Dong.
- Ben Daniels stars in DOUBT a Parable from 7 February - 8 March at the Theatre Royal Bath.
- Stanley Morgan and John Light star in the Young Vic’s new revival of The Little Foxes, playing until 8 February, with Sound Design by Tingying Dong.
- Nigel Hastings stars in FIREBIRD at the King’s Head Theatre until 9 February.
- MyAnna Buring stars in series 6 of Unforgotten which returns to ITV and ITVX on 9 February.
- Katherine Lyle stars in the London premier of The Value of Names at The White Bear Theatre from 11 February - 1 March.
- A Man For All Seasons which plays at The Everyman Theatre from 11 - 15 February stars Martin Shaw.
- Funeral Sandwiches, playing at the Drayton Arms in London from 11 - 15 February features Sound Designer Marie Zschommler.
- Regina Co performs in new musical, Stalled, which runs from 13 - 23 February at The King's Head.
- Bridget Jones 4: Mad About The Boy, starring Jim Broadbent and Chiwetel Ejiofor, will be released in cinemas on 14 February.
- Gabby Beans stars in Romeo + Juliet on Broadway until 16 February at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
- Justin Mayer stars in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory until 16 February in Ft. Worth, TX at Casa Mañana.
- The Score, starring Brian Cox and Stephen Hagan, plays at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 20 February - 26 April.
- A new adaptation of Romeo and Juliet at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry stars Kyle Ndukuba. The show will run from 21 February - 8 March before transferring to the Bristol Old Vic from 12 March - 5 April and Hackney Empire from 23 - 26 April.
- Rebecca Frecknall’s 2022 revival of A Streetcar Named Desire returns to London at the Noël Coward Theatre until 22 February, before it debuts at the Almeida Theatre for its US premiere from 28 February - 6 April.
- Sarah Thorn stars in Othello from 24 February - 8 June at Barrymore Theatre, on Broadway.
- Nicholas Bruns stars in The Gift until 1 March at Park Theatre.
- Sam Jenkins-Shaw will star in Mrs President at Charing Cross Theatre until 16 March.
- Three Sisters, which plays at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse until 19 April, stars Stuart Thompson.
- Saroja-Lily Ratnavel stars in Cymbeline until 20 April at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
Things to look forward to
- Down the Road, at Playhouse East from 4 - 29 March, stars Aaron Vodovoz.
- The Little Women UK Tour stars Grace Molony and opens at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry on 19 March.
- A Working Man, starring Jason Flemyng, will be released in cinemas on 28 March.
- Orville Peck makes his Broadway debut in Cabaret, with his run beginning on 31 March.
- Government Cheese starring David Oyelowo premiers on Apple TV+ on 16 April.
- Rory Kinnear, Harry Hadden-Patton and Cameron Johnson will star in Here We Are at Lyttelton Theatre, National Theatre from 23 April - 28 June.
- Roman Asde stars in Romeo and Juliet from 25 April - 2 August at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
- The Life of Chuck starring Chiwetel Ejiofor will premiere on in the US on 30 May.
- A Moon for the Misbegotten at the Almeida Theatre from 17 June - 16 August is directed by Rebecca Frecknall and stars Ruth Wilson.
- Rose Leslie stars in the RSC’s production of The Constant Wife at the Swan Theatre from 20 June - 2 August.
- Brian Cox is set to star in the world premiere of The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) which opens at the Edinburgh International Festival from 1 - 9 August, with festival previews on 30 and 31 July at Dundee Rep Theatre.
- Tinuke Craig will direct Noughts & Crosses which plays at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre from 28 June - 26 July.
- A Christmas Carol – A Ghost Story, with composer Tingying Dong, will play at Alexandra Palace from 22 November - 4 January 2026.
- Silo starring Harriet Walter on Apple TV+ has been renewed for third and fourth season.
- The Au Pair on Channel 5 starring Sir David Suchet will be released later this year.
- Sam Claflin to star in the series Lazarus, which will be released on Prime Video later this year.
- Mem Ferda is set to produce the upcoming film, Saturday Bite Fever.
- Jeremy Irvine will star in The Light Fantastic which is in early production.
