About the show
A poor doctor's daughter cures the King of France and, in return, is promised marriage to any nobleman she wishes. But the proud young count she chooses refuses to consummate the marriage and flees to Florence - after setting her a seemingly impossible task.
Depicting the triumph of trickery over youthful arrogance, All's Well That Ends Well is among Shakespeare's darkest romantic comedies, yet it remains a powerful tribute to the strength of love.
Simone works as a Director and Movement Specialist in the UK, USA and Australia. She was the Director of Shackelton and His Stowaway – both at Cervantes Theatre and Park Theatre, London.
In 2017 she directed Orlando: The Queer Element with Clay and Diamonds which toured National Trust properties in England. As an Associate Director at Fourth Monkey, she has directed The Tempest and Henry V amongst others. She also works as a Globe Practise Practitioner at Shakespeare’s Globe.
Contains themes of misogyny, rape, death, childbirth, and sexual assault, and use of flashing lights and haze effects.
