Tom Allen
Associate Teacher (Sound)
Tom is a Sound Engineer with just shy of 20 years of experience working throughout the theatre industry. Starting at age 14 working in local venues and mixing bands, Tom eventually moved to London to study at Guildhall, depping across the West End. Once graduating, Tom went on to work extensively on touring musicals as both a Deputy Head and Head of Sound both around the UK and the rest of the world before finally settling down in the West End as Deputy Head of Sound on Mamma Mia!
Since joining LAMDA, Tom has continued to work in the industry, most recently as Sound Designer on the UK tours of Peppa Pig and Bing as well as a Production Sound Engineer on the international tour of Book of Mormon.
