Ross McKenzie
Ross is Producer and Lead Practitioner within LAMDA's Screen & Audio department. He oversees production of the films that showcase the work of the BA and MFA graduating students, working in collaboration with PTASS students and industry professional crews.
Ross comes with an extensive track record working in the UK film industry. He runs the production company Devil May Care Entertainment. His most recent production TOO ROUGH screened at 90 festivals worldwide and won a BAFTA and a BIFA. He also has a number of feature films and TV projects in development.
As a former Film and TV Executive at Screen Scotland, Ross was Executive Producer on projects including series THE LOCH for ITV starring Laura Fraser and Siobhan Finneran; and feature films MALEVOLENT for Netflix starring Florence Pugh and Celia Imrie; Annabel Jankel’s TELL IT TO THE BEES starring Anna Paquin and Holliday Granger; and Ben Sharrock’s BAFTA and BIFA nominated refugee drama LIMBO starring LAMDA alumnus Amir El Mazri.
Ross has worked for companies including Paramount Pictures, Film London and the British Film Institute (BFI). In 2011 he produced Michael Pearce’s BAFTA and BIFA nominated short film RITE. He is a graduate of the Media Business School’s Masters in Audiovisual Management programme.
