Applications open for US-based Applicants
Applications now open for acting courses for 2023/24 entry
From 1 September 2022, we're accepting applications from US-based applicants ahead of our audition tour, early next year, for our three acting courses:
- BA (Hons) Professional Acting
- MFA Professional Acting
- MA Classical Acting for the Professional Theatre
We've put together a guide to the application and audition process below with useful links.
If you're interested in applying for our FdA or BA top-up Production & Technical Arts or MA Directing course, applications will open later in Autumn 2022, as these courses require an interview rather than an audition.
Please note, if you are applying from the UK or internationally (outside of the US) applications will open later in Autumn 2022 for our acting, technical arts and directing courses.

Applications are open for the following courses: BA (Hons) Professional Acting [3 years], MFA Professional Acting [2 years] and MA Classical Acting [1 year]. Find out about each of the courses by visiting the Explore courses page where you can select your specialism or go directly to the Undergraduate or Postgraduate courses from the menu.

Apply for your chosen course
When you're ready to start your application, click the Apply Now button at the top of the page. For further information on the application process, head to the How to Apply page, linked below. This page outlines each stage of filling out your application form and includes some helpful tips.

Read about the audition process
The audition process is slightly different depending on where you live in the world. As you're based in the United States, we'll be visiting a number of cities in January and February 2023 to hold in-person auditions, followed by recalls in New York and Los Angeles for successful applicants.
