In January our Chief Examiner, Linda Macrow, visited several schools in Delhi who are considering LAMDA Examinations for their students.
Meeting with a variety of teachers, Linda discussed the value of LAMDA Examinations, and speech and drama in general, in developing life skills.
Just like their counterparts in the UK and other parts of the world the teachers are aware of the positive impact of LAMDA Examinations on improving the communication skills of their students. We are excited at the opportunity of working with the schools to incorporate LAMDA Examinations into their curriculum. We will be returning to Delhi this summer to deliver our new LAMDA Syllabus in Practice: Communication (LSPC) and LAMDA Syllabus in Practice: Performance (LSPP) courses, and to run a week long Musical Theatre course, which will result in the school’s delegates taking a Group Musical Theatre Examination at the end of the week.
These are exciting and positive opportunities for LAMDA Examinations, and we are keen to continue developing relationships with teachers and schools in both the UK and overseas.
