Anna Demetriou (2016) is performing in The Telling’s Unsung Heroine at Hastings Lit Festival from 30 August – 1 September.
Aoife Kennan (2018) will play Gertrude in Jermyn Street Theatre’s upcoming production of For Services Rendered, from 4 September - 5 October.
Amy-Vicary Smith (2019), James Trent and Lewis Bruniges appear in So Here We Are and Stiletto Beach as part of Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch’s Essex On Stage programme from 4 - 28 September.
Katie Warnusz-Steckel (2018) will be performing in the World Premiere of The Maternity Monologues in New York from 5 – 12 September.
Alumnus and AFLAMDA board member Brian Cox stars as President Lyndon B. Johnson in Robert Schenkkan’s The Great Society. Performances begin 6 September at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre on Broadway.
Harry Hadden-Paton stars as King George VI in The King’s Speech, running at the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre from 12 September before embarking on a US tour.
2019 Graduate Stuart Thompson begins his run as Geoffrey in the National Theatre’s A Taste of Honey UK Tour from 13 September.
Alumni Toby Stephens, Claire Skinner and Patricia Hodge will star in A Day in the Death of Joe Egg at the Trafalgar Studios from Saturday 21 September.

The Laundromat, starring Nikki Amuka-Bird will be screened at the Venice Film Festival on 1 September and Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September.
Anna Maxwell Martin, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Anthony Welsh and Rosalind Eleazar (2015) will be in The Personal History of David Copperfield. It will be released at the Toronto International Film Festival on 5 September and have its European premiere on 2 October 2019.
Harry Melling (2010)’s new film Waiting for the Barbarians will be released at the Venice Film Festival on 6 September.
My Zoe will be shown at the Toronto International Film Festival on 7 September, starring LAMDA alumnus Richard Armitage.
Ordinary Love gets its world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival on 9 September starring LAMDA graduates Amit Shah and Esh Alladi.
Friday 13 September marks the release of the Downton Abbey film starring LAMDA alumni, Harry Hadden-Paton and David Haig.
On 18 September TV Movie A Brother’s Honour will be released in the US starring Ricco Ross.
Donald Sutherland will star in upcoming film Ad Astra, due to be released 18 September.

Head of Acting Caroline Leslie is directing Luke Norris’ So Here We Are as part of Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch’s Essex On Stage programme from 7 – 28 September. Sophie Macfadyen (2016) is Deputy Stage Manager.
Natasha Chivers’ latest lighting design can be seen in the Young Vic’s production of Blood Wedding, directed by Yaël Farber, from 19 September - 2 November 2019.
Howard Panter is producing A Day in the Death of Joe Egg at the Trafalgar Studios from 21 September.
The first Women Writes Festival will take place at The Arcola Theatre on 29 September. Laura Jayne Bateman (2018) will direct Madison High by Alex Critoph (2014) who is also directing Laura Horton’s The Labyrinth Diet. Catherine Kolubayev’s short play Algorithm will be performed as well.

Mischief Theatre’s new show Groan Ups will have its first performance on Friday 20 September at the Vaudeville Theatre.

Congratulations to Adam Hugill (2018) for his Best Actor in a musical nomination at The Stage Debut Awards 2019! He has been nominated for his performance in Standing at the Sky’s Edge at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre. The Awards will take place on 15 September. It has also just been announced that he will be starring in the new BBC America Series Adaptation of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld.
Best of luck to Sarah Goldberg at the Emmy Awards on 22 September! She received a Best Supporting Actress Emmy nomination for her role as Sally Reed in HBO dark comedy series Barry.
Congratulations to Janine Harouni (2014) who won this year’s BBC Radio 4 Comedy Award.
