Our award-winning building
LAMDA moved to its current home in Baron's Court, West London in 2003, the former home of The Royal Ballet School. Our £28.2 million redevelopment opened in 2017 and includes:
- The Sainsbury Theatre, a proscenium arch theatre seating 220 with full height fly tower.
- The Carne Studio Theatre and Linbury Studio are black box studio theatres, which provide flexible and accessible performance spaces. They seat 120 and 90 and are both based on the ground floor of the building.
- Professional recording and film equipment, with an audio studio for voiceovers, short films, self-created work and digital showcase scenes.
