Overview
At the heart of any healthy team dynamic must be the ability to have honest conversations that move the business forward. When that communication breaks down the result can be a drain on energy, resources and productivity.
Designed for anyone who manages a team this course equips you with the skills you need to have courageous conversations that lead to change.
Learn what happens psychologically during tense exchanges and how we can defuse the experience so that the conversation becomes productive for all involved.
Explore agenda setting, empathy vs compassion, active listening, managing emotion, assertiveness, conflict resolution, finding commonality, reaching resolution and gaining commitment to action.
This is an interactive workshop that will immerse participants in forum theatre where they can see techniques in action performed by talented LAMDA alumni. There is also an opportunity to practice skills by roleplaying scenarios with actors.
