Group Syllabus Update

The Group Syllabus review is now well under way. The first draft has been reviewed and the first working groups are currently in progress. We are therefore pleased to confirm that we will be launching the new Group syllabus including the following examinations as of 1 August 2025, with the first examinations for these qualifications being held from 1 January 2026

  • Group Recital: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 3
  • Group Choral Speaking: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 3
  • Group Acting: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 8
  • Group Devising Drama: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 8
  • Group Musical Theatre: Entry Grade and Grade 1 – 8

This means that we will be withdrawing the previous Group Syllabus examinations, as described in the above list, as of 31 December 2025. All teachers should therefore prepare to start teaching Learners using the new syllabus (launched as of 1 August 2025) for any Learners who will be taking their examinations from 1 January 2026 onwards.

Adverse Weather and Travel Disruptions

We are aware that your journey to an exam venue may be affected by adverse weather and/or travel disruptions. Please follow these tips when travelling:

  • Check your journey for updates or changes before starting your journey
  • Allow additional time to travel in case of any disruptions
  • Plan alternative routes or methods to travel to the exam venue 

If you are running late, please contact your local Public Centre Representative or Centre Coordinator to make them aware. Where possible, our Examiners will assess each learner who arrives late. For anyone unable to travel to the exam venue or cannot be assessed due to arriving late, please email [email protected]

When contacting you, it’s important that we have the right information. If you are a Private Centre customer, you can log into ExamTrack to update your personal details. If you need to update or change your centre details, please get in touch with us at [email protected]

Guildford Public Centre: Spring Event Update

Please note that the Guildford public events for Spring 2025 have been rescheduled. The dates are as follows:

  • 22-23 March 2025
  • 5-6 April 2025

Leigh-on-Sea Public Centre Name Change Notice

We would like to announce that the Leigh-on-Sea Public Centre has been renamed the Southend-on-Sea Public Centre. This change has being made to more accurately reflect our location in Southend-on-Sea.

All event dates remained unchanged, and if you registered under the Leigh-on-Sea Public Centre, your booking has been automatically transferred to the Southend-on-Sea Public Centre.
